The recent benchmark reports on GeekBench shows that the Xiaomi Blackshark has Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset clocked at 1.77GHz coupled with 8GB of RAM and it might be available in several variants, 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB of UFS internal storage. The scores shown in the results are surprisingly high, even for Qualcomm’s latest silicon. The device runs on Android v8.0.0 Oreo and might come with Xiaomi’s own skin called MIUI which is loved by many of the Mi fans.
The Blackshark SKR-A0 is the first of a new line of gaming-oriented smartphones, by Xiaomi. As for the gaming phone, the performance should be top notch and as per the GeekBench score, it does look like it. The recently launched SAMSUNG S9+ had scored 2422 points in the single-core test and 8351 points on multi-core test which is now slightly surpassed by Xiaomi’s Blackshark SKR-A0.
Personally, We don’t think that the Blackshark SKR-A0 will beat the SAMSUNG S9+ in terms of camera but the main motive of Xiaomi is to build gaming-oriented smartphone so saying something about the camera might be pointless for now. We will wait for the official launch of the device to share more details about it.
